Matt Wales

Matt Wales is a finance professional with extensive experience in product management and private equity. As Co-Founder and Head of Product at BenefitFlow since May 2021, Matt has led product initiatives in a dynamic environment. Prior roles include Senior Associate and Private Equity positions at Tenex Capital Management from January 2017 to April 2021, and an M&A Analyst position at Evercore from June 2015 to November 2016. Matt also served as President of the Maize and Blue Endowment Fund, where management of a $300,000 investment fund was a primary responsibility. Additional experience encompasses roles at Michigan Interactive Investments, Apollo Global Management, Sugarloaf Rock Capital, MML Capital Partners, and E*TRADE Financial. Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
