Alan Schabes

Alan Schabes is a Partner at Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, focusing on health care law with a particular emphasis on private equity transactions, regulatory matters, and long-term care facilities. They served as General Counsel at NCS Healthcare from 1997 to 2002 and have contributed significantly to health care literature, including editorial roles for various handbooks published by the American Health Lawyers Association and other organizations. Alan has been credentialed by the American Medical Association and received the Journalism Award from the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators in 1992. With a J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from Duquesne University, Alan has also spoken nationally on diverse health care topics.
