David Pope

David Pope is a seasoned litigator and Co-Chair of the Class Actions Group at Benesch Law, where they have been a partner since 2015 and previously served as the Partner-in-Charge of the Chicago office until 2022. With extensive experience representing public and private companies in complex litigation since 2001, David specializes in defending clients in consumer class actions, securities litigation, and various business disputes. They earned a B.A. in English from Colorado College and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to their current role, David held partnerships at Mayer Brown from 2001 to 2014 and Ulmer & Berne LLP from 2014 to 2015.
