Benevolent Design Co. is a custom furniture and cabinetry studio based in Virginia Beach, specializing in handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces built with intention, craftsmanship, and longevity. Rooted in traditional woodworking techniques and thoughtful design, the studio creates custom tables, cabinetry, and architectural elements for both residential and commercial spaces.

Beyond the work itself, Benevolent Design Co. is committed to using craftsmanship as a tool for purpose and community impact. Through its Presence in the Workshop initiative, the studio supports veterans transitioning into civilian life by providing hands-on woodworking education, mentorship, and a creative environment focused on skill building, discipline, and connection.

Every piece is designed and built in house, with an emphasis on durability, honest materials, and creating furniture that will be used and appreciated for generations.
