Jia Li

Jia Li is currently the Lead Bioinformatics Data Scientist at BenevolentAI. Previously, they served as a Scientist/Bioinformatician at Genomics plc from 2015 to 2019, where they developed a variant/gene prioritisation toolkit and conducted genetic association analysis. Jia has also held research and teaching roles at various institutions, including the University of Geneva, where they earned both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. Their early experience includes internships and research assistant roles at organizations such as the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and UNIL - Université de Lausanne.
