Javier A. Chaves, EIT, is a Structural Engineer at Benham, a Haskell Company, since August 2023. Previously, Javier served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, focusing on innovative bridge construction methods and conducting extensive load capacity tests on GRS abutments. Javier's experience includes internships at American Fidelity, where robotic process automation was implemented, achieving significant time savings, and at the Ronnie K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth, designing a commercial document camera for remote education. Additionally, international experience was gained as a Civil Engineering Intern in Italy and through various roles in project analysis and administrative support. Javier holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an International Baccalaureate from UWC Atlantic College, complemented by a Venezuelan Baccalaureate with a Science Distinction.
