Leila Thomas

Leila Thomas has four years of work experience, starting with their role as a TA for 15-121 Data Structures at Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science in 2014. Leila then moved on to work as a General Backend at an unnamed startup from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, Leila co-founded Knight Bus, a women-first mass transit company, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2021. Currently, they work as a Software Engineer at Beni.

Leila Thomas completed their high school education at Harvard-Westlake School between 2009 and 2013. Leila then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University from 2013 to 2017.
