The family business Benke GmbH was founded in 2003 in Diepoldsau, a district of Rheintal, by a group of dedicated entrepreneurs and has remained in family hands ever since.
In its early years, the company focused specifically on the sale of disposable gloves and selected microfiber cloths—specialized and market-oriented, with a clear focus on quality and reliability.
Soon, demand for additional microfiber products began to grow, with a focus on mop covers, cleaning cloths, glasses cloths, and similar specialty items. This growth spurt motivated us to strategically expand our product range—for example, with exclusive microfiber cloths such as the dishcloth product, which we had manufactured according to our own specifications.
Parallel to the diversification of our product range, we consistently invested in the development and manufacture of premium cleaning products under the motto “100% Made in Switzerland,” a fundamental principle that still applies today and will continue to be pursued in the future.
With our own development and production facilities and a global network of partners, we were able to respond flexibly to special customer requests – whether in the private label sector or for specific microfiber equipment.
Since 2008, the company has also been based in Widnau – a move that has further strengthened our infrastructure and logistics in the Rhine Valley.
Today, Benke GmbH positions itself as a reliable partner in the field of microfiber textiles, cleaning products, disposable gloves, and cleaning systems – with a high degree of flexibility, individual implementation expertise, and a focus on sustainability and Swiss quality.
