Jared Mackey

Jared Mackey is a Partner at Bennett Jones, where they practice in all areas of Canadian income tax law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and tax dispute resolution with the Canada Revenue Agency. They previously served as an Associate at Bennett Jones LLP and started their legal career as a Student at Law. Jared is actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association’s Executive Committee for Taxation Specialists (South) and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. In the community, Jared officiated as a linesman in the Western Hockey League from 2012 to 2022. They earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Toronto and completed the In Depth Taxation Course from CPA Canada.
