Mark Powell

Mark Powell is a Partner at Bennett Jones LLP, where they lead the Trading & Derivatives practice group. With extensive experience in commodities, interest rates, and equities trading, they assist clients with ISDA master agreements and related documentation. Additionally, Mark provides regulatory advice linked to Canada's G20 commitment on derivatives and has previously held significant roles, including being chair of the Canadian Derivatives Regulatory Group at IECA International Energy Credit Association. Mark has also served on the board of directors for Special Olympics Alberta and as a director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area. They earned an LLB from the University of Alberta and a BComm from The University of British Columbia.
