Dan Bart is the Manager at Bennett Thrasher. Prior to their current position, Bart was a Research Assistant to Dean Donald J. Weidner at Florida State University College of Law from June 2014 to August 2014. There, they researched the definition, maintenance, and operation of Capital Accounts in Partnerships and LLCs. Bart also analyzed accounting practice, state default rules, and federal income tax compliance through a review of Partnership and LLC Capital Accounts. Before Florida State University, Bart was a Staff Accountant at Bart and Bart CPAs from September 2011 to August 2012 where they completed various bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and auditing functions. Dan also compiled materials necessary to issue an assurance opinion and assisted in litigation support.
Dan Bart received their Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and has a Business Law Certificate Program. Dan also has a Master's Degree in Accounting from St. John's University as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same school.
