Benson and Company Ltd has been a pioneer in the consumer electronics field for over four decades. The name ‘Benson and Co.’ is synonymous with quality and has over the years become a brand name on its own. Established in 1980, Benson and Company has grown at a steady rate over the years.

What began as a technical center has now grown into a powerhouse in the electronics and household appliances arena in Tanzania. Benson’s, as it is fondly known, has been at the forefront of service delivery since its inception; indeed its ethos reverberates around creating the Right Buying Experience. The idea behind Benson’s success is a belief that going the extra mile is a consumer’s right, not a privilege. This belief has led to high degrees of customer loyalty which has been the bedrock to Benson’s market dominance.

Benson and Company is a family owned business and its succession plan has ensured that it reaches greater heights year on year. Benson has weaved itself into the fabric of Arusha’s society by sponsoring events, supporting charities, and retaining its nimbleness in decision making to satisfy clients. We have always looked at customer loyalty as the greatest compliment in our undertakings – this holds true today and in the coming future. Our biggest accolade has been tales from our clients of handing down their electronic items from grandparents to grandchildren as a memoir and it's what drives us to do what we do.

Benson and Company's future hinges on its commitment to delivering top-tier customer service while simultaneously exploring opportunities to broaden its product offerings and penetrate new markets.

The latest expansion effort has resulted in the establishment of another division specifically targeting the Business to Business market – we call it Corporate
