Benthic GeoScience, an incorporated company founded in Alaska on a collaborative business model, employs specialists in the marine geophysical, oceanographic, and marine geology industries. We specialize in measuring our Earth and Earth's energies through the implementation of remote sensing geophysical equipment and innovative methodologies. We deploy active and passive sensors in remote locations for the purpose measuring specific characteristics of the natural or improved environment.

Our staff has extensive experience serving the Energy Industries (both Oil and Renewable Energy), Marine Engineering and Construction, the Scientific Research Community, as well as Governmental Agencies such as NOAA, Fisheries, DoD, and USACE.

The data that we acquire is often needed early in the planning process to confirm execution costs, permitting, and environmental feasibility. Our data is utilized by Project Managers, Engineers, Infrastructure Maintainers (such as Marine Platform Owners, Submarine Data/Power Cables, and Pipeline Companies) Biologists, Ecologists, and various other Environmental Services.

Benthic GeoScience staff prides itself on a deep fundamental understanding of physical science and our adept ability to interpret the specific information desired from our data for our clientele. In collaboration with the client, we design our projects, select the appropriate geophysical equipment for the task and budget, assess the ambient environmental interference, process the data to best highlight the desired results, and interpret the data with a level of accuracy unsurpassed by our peers.

Due to this conservation of effort and our high level of experience, Benthic GeoScience is able to keep operational costs low, operate safely while deployed to inhospitable environments, and resolve technical issues even during remote expeditions.
