Andre Alves

Andre Alves is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in offshore geotechnical and geological investigations. Currently serving as Lead Geotechnical Engineer at Benthic since February 2019, Andre has been involved in significant projects across Brazil and Guyana, utilizing advanced drilling and testing techniques. Prior to this role, Andre managed projects as an Onsite Manager at SEEL and oversaw geotechnical and foundation projects at Teixeira Duarte, demonstrating strong skills in resource management, cost control, and performance optimization. Andre began the career as a geotechnical engineering intern at Coope/UFRJ and has a solid academic background with a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in Project Management from Ibmec.
