Mateus Belbuche

Mateus Belbuche is an experienced geotechnical engineer currently working at Benthic since December 2019, where contributions include analysis and data management. Prior experience includes an internship at the Geotechnics Laboratory of COPPE/UFRJ from October 2017 to June 2019, focusing on bender element data analysis, centrifuge testing for soil improvement, and preparation of experimental setups. Significant projects include leading data analysis for a published scientific article and standardizing centrifuge testing data analysis. Educational qualifications comprise a Master's degree in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of UFRJ, and completion of high school at Colégio Militar de Fortaleza. Noteworthy achievements include substantially reducing the calibration analysis time for pore pressure transducers from two hours to five minutes.
