Dan O'Brien

Dan O'Brien currently serves as the Director of Philanthropy and Impact at Bentley Systems, a position held since October 2023. Previously, O'Brien was the Principal at O'Brien Consulting from July 2020 to November 2023, where collaboration with community organizations and non-profits focused on strategic initiatives and stakeholder outreach. O'Brien spent nearly a decade with the City of Philadelphia, first as the Deputy Director of the Office of Grants and Community Partnerships and formerly as Assistant Managing Director, where strategic partnerships and grant opportunities were prioritized. O'Brien's earlier experience includes roles such as Refugee Resettlement Case Manager at the Nationalities Service Center, Research Analyst at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and Youth and Community Development Specialist with the Peace Corps in Jordan. O'Brien holds a BA in History from La Salle University, earned from 1995 to 1999.
