David Brito has a diverse work experience in software engineering and research. David started their career at MARETEC - Instituto Superior Técnico as a Researcher and Software Developer, where they worked on developing models in Fortran and utilizing other existing models. David then joined Action Modulers as a Software Engineer, where they developed desktop GUI and web applications using various programming languages. Currently, they are working at Bentley Systems as a Principal Software Engineer, holding previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
David Brito completed their education at Instituto Superior Técnico. David earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from 1999 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Engineering at the same institute from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they also spent a year at Politecnico di Milano in 2002-2003 studying Environmental Engineering.
