David Shaman

Chief Legal Officer & Secretary at Bentley Systems

David Shaman joined Bentley in 1998 as deputy general counsel in its Netherlands office and was named Bentley’s chief legal officer in 2016. Prior to this role, he served Bentley as general counsel and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the legal department’s global operations. Before joining Bentley, David was with the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Covington & Burling LLP, in its Brussels, Belgium, office. David earned a jurist doctorate degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
