Fred Cao

Fred Cao is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in civil engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Bentley Systems since November 2022, Fred has held similar roles at Screening Eagle Technologies, Luxoft, and Autodesk, where responsibilities included software development and management. Fred's career in software engineering began after earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University, with earlier experience as a Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Senior Software Engineer at Hanna Strategies.
