Murray Fredlund is a highly experienced geotechnical expert with significant leadership roles in the field of geotechnical engineering. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Bentley Systems since July 2018, Murray focuses on 3D slope stability analysis and innovative software applications for the mining sector. Prior to this role, Murray was the President and CEO of SoilVision Systems Ltd from January 1997 to July 2018, where the company developed advanced finite-element and slope stability numerical modeling software for geotechnical engineers globally. Murray holds multiple Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and Texas A&M University.
