Tao Yang

Tao Yang is an experienced electrical engineering professional currently serving as Manager of Power System Engineering at Bentley Systems since February 2023. With a robust background in engineering management, Tao previously held the position of Engineering Manager at EasyPower LLC from October 2019 to February 2023, overseeing product development and team strategy. Additional experience includes serving as Sr. Engineer at PJM Interconnection, where Tao conducted system impact studies, and Engineer Sr at American Electric Power, leading wide area monitoring and implementing transmission analysis projects. Prior roles include Transmission Planning Engineer at Florida Power & Light, focusing on transmission system reliability, and various research positions at the University of Hawaii and Washington State University. Tao holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, an MBA from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University.
