Gavin Hay

Gavin Hay has extensive experience in the technology and consulting industry. Gavin is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Bento Engine, a FinTech company focused on empowering Financial Advisors with personalized advice and efficient solutions. Prior to this, Gavin was the President and Co-founder of Dispatch Integration Ltd, where they helped businesses leverage their data to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Gavin also served as the Director of Workday Practice at KPMG Canada, providing strategic advice on HRIS strategy and driving business transformation. Gavin has a deep understanding of data integration and technology solutions, evident from their roles as Principle Consultant at Norima Consulting and Workday Integration Manager at Balkon Inc. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Systems Analyst/Siebel CRM Specialist at Ceridian Canada Ltd and a Project Specialist at Presidio Systems Inc. Gavin has experience teaching English as a Second Language and working as a freelance developer. Gavin Hay's education history is as follows:

In 1993, Gavin began their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies at The University of Winnipeg. Gavin completed this degree in 1998.

In 2001, Gavin enrolled in Siebel University, where they studied Siebel. Gavin completed their studies at Siebel University in 2006.

In 2012, Gavin attended Workday and obtained certifications in OnBoarding Basics, Integration Basics, and Integration Advanced.

During 2015, Gavin earned the Associate MuleSoft Developer Essentials certification from MuleSoft. Gavin also completed a course in MuleSoft Integration Platform at MuleSoft during the same year. In addition, they received training in HDP Developer: Apache Pig and Hive from Hortonworks University.

From 2013 to 2013, Gavin attended Workday and earned the Cloud Connect for Benefits degree.

Most recently, in 2019, Gavin studied Introduction to Software Product Management at the University of Alberta. Gavin completed this program in 2020.

Gavin has also obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they acquired the MCD Integration and API Associate (Mule 3.7) certification from MuleSoft. In 2020, Gavin obtained the Automation Pro II Certification from Workato.
