Jeff Wald

Jeff Wald has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jeff is currently the Co-Founder of Bento Engine and Sonero.ai, both of which they joined in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Prior to these ventures, Wald served as a Board Member at TRANSFR Inc. starting in 2018. Jeff was also a Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit and Corporate Governance/Nominating Committees at Steel Connect since 2012. Furthermore, Wald served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Costar Technologies, beginning in 2010. In the same year, they co-founded WorkMarket, an ADP company, and held the position until 2020. Wald also had board membership roles at Peerless Systems Corporation from 2008 to 2012 and at Register.com from 2009 to 2010. Prior to these positions, Wald started their career as an Auxiliary Police Officer at the New York City Police Department in 2003, where they served until 2012. Notably, they also worked as a Managing Director at Barington Capital Group from 2008 to 2010, where they played an active role in various investments.

Jeff Wald's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics, which they pursued from 1991 to 1995 at Cornell University. Jeff also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 1993 for a brief period of study. In 1995, they went back to Cornell University to pursue a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Policy with a focus on US Chinese Relations, which they completed in 1996.
