Mark Callaway

Mark Callaway is the current Consulting and Risk Services Director at Beond Group. Prior to this, they were the Consulting Services Director at BuyEnergyOnline from November 2013 to September 2015. In this role, they advised large commercial and industrial customers how to manage energy price risks and create new opportunities around energy use and generation.

Before their time at BuyEnergyOnline, Callaway was the Energy Markets Director at Power Efficiency from December 2004 to October 2013. In this role, they advised large commercial and industrial customers on the benefits of "Flexible" wholesale energy procurement. Mark also devised risk management strategies and negotiated supply contracts for circa 100 major consumers purchasing wholesale electricity and gas. Additionally, Callaway traded energy and provided regular analysis of power, gas, oil and emissions markets. Mark also managed relationships with key clients and developed new services to reduce their energy costs. Some of their notable achievements include working with major financial institutions and industrial clients on demand management projects which reduced clients' "triad" costs and generated income from power exports, "STOR" and "Low Carbon London".

Mark Callaway has an MA in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge and A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics from the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
