Sameer Karimi

Sameer Karimi, MBA, currently serves as Manager of Drug Product at BeiGene since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Astellas Gene Therapies from March 2019 to January 2022, where Sameer held positions as Supervisor and Associate, overseeing team production needs and aiding in the validation of a new filling line. At Genentech, from February 2014 to March 2019, Sameer advanced through roles including Aseptic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Senior Lead Technician and acted as Interim Supervisor, supporting daily operations and technician development. Earlier experience includes working as a Physical Therapy Aide at Physical Rehabilitation Network and as a Student Intern at UCSD School of Medicine's Dewji Lab, where Sameer conducted laboratory procedures and maintained cell cultures. Sameer earned an MBA from San Francisco State University and a degree in Human Biology from UC San Diego.
