Juha Ikonen is the Global R&D Director at Beontag, leading the global R&D organization in RFID since October 2021, following the acquisition of related operations from Stora Enso. Prior to this role, Juha served as R&D Manager at Stora Enso, focusing on production technology development and new product creation from October 2019 to September 2021. Juha co-founded Agiler in 2015, exploring entrepreneurship and consulting on innovative developments. Earlier experience includes a decade at Confidex Ltd as Vice President of Engineering, enhancing R&D and production processes, and a role at UPM Rafsec as Development Engineer, where involvement in early RFID manufacturing occurred. Juha began the career as a Quality Engineer at Valmet Voimansiirto following a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Jyväskylä Polytechnic, acquired between 1995 and 1999.
