Raphael Lopes

Raphael Lopes is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Operations & Biodiversity Sourcing at Beraca Ingredientes Naturais since December 2018, where management of production, procurement, supply chain, and quality control is conducted to enhance operational efficiency. As President of the Beraca Institute and previously the Chief Financial Officer at Beraca, Raphael has directed efforts in finance, IT, and human resources, implementing sustainability initiatives and driving business performance. Prior to Beraca, significant roles at Clariant included Regional Business Controller for Industrial & Consumer Specialties in Latin America, with a focus on M&A activities, and earlier experience as a Credit Risk Analyst and Intern in Treasury. Raphael's educational background includes degrees in Finance from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and various executive education courses from Insper and ESPM, focused on marketing, sales management, and mergers and acquisitions.
