At Bereum, we believe the future of gut health will be shaped by microbiome science that is practical, stable, and easy to apply in everyday products.

For over four decades, we have focused on one area: postbiotics.

Using proprietary fermentation and precision heat-inactivation technology, Bereum develops highly concentrated postbiotic ingredients designed for modern food and beverage formulations. Our postbiotics are produced at one of the world’s highest concentrations, reaching up to 7.5 trillion cells per gram, allowing effective functionality even at very low dosages.

Our clinically studied strains, beLP1™ and EF-2001™, enable brands to incorporate microbiome-supporting functionality without affecting taste, texture, or production efficiency. They are used across a wide range of applications, including food and beverages, functional nutrition products, jellies, cosmetics, and animal nutrition.

Today, Bereum works with global food, beverage, and nutrition companies developing the next generation of microbiome-focused products.

Our facilities operate under internationally recognized certifications including FSSC22000, HALAL, HACCP, and FDA factory registration, supported by decades of scientific research and peer-reviewed publications.
