Karl Bergquist , our original founder, created his company in 1963 under the name Bergquist Propane Equipment Inc. At the time, Karl served a regional area of customers out of a single “garage” location. 

Today , Bergquist, Inc. continues to operate as a family-owned entity under the leadership of Bob and Linda Barry, providing wholesale propane equipment and appliances to companies across 50 states and worldwide.

To serve you better, our staff of over 30 experienced propane specialists is dispersed throughout six national sales and distribution centers.
