Berkeley High School has a robust athletic program supporting more then 1200 student athletes playing on 53 teams (freshman, JV, and varsity) in 29 boys and girls sports. The Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF) was formed in 1985 in response to budgetary cutbacks to the athletic department. BAF is made up of parents of athletes–current and alumni–and community members who share a special interest in supporting Berkeley High School’s sports program. We have been raising funds ever since 1985 to supplement the BHS Athletic Program, and now we are needed just to keep the program at its current level.
