Alison Hatt serves as the Communications Lead for the Energy Sciences Area at Berkeley Lab since January 2024. Previously, Alison held the position of Deputy of User Services at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, contributing from November 2020 to April 2022. Between April 2012 and June 2020, Alison was the User Program Senior Advisor and also acted as the Molecular Foundry User Program Director at Berkeley Lab. Earlier roles included serving as a Communications and Public Affairs Specialist and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from 2010 to 2012. Alison Hatt earned a PhD in Materials Science from UC Santa Barbara in 2010 and a BSc in Physics from the University of Utah in 2005.
