Alyssa Brand

Alyssa Brand has a robust background in chemical safety and education, currently serving as a Chemical Safety Specialist at Berkeley Lab since September 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing chemical safety at the Advanced Light Source. Prior roles at Berkeley Lab include Laboratory Safety Specialist, focusing on developing safety procedures and serving as the primary contact for cryogen systems, and Senior Research Associate, responsible for equipment maintenance, facility management, and research on lead selenide nanoparticle synthesis.
