Andrew Jones

Andy Jones is an Earth scientist currently serving as the Earth Systems and Society Program Domain Lead at Berkeley Lab. They lead the Resilient Systems Grand Challenge theme and are also an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley, where they mentor students and teach about Climate Science and Society. Previously, they worked as the Deputy Director of the Climate Readiness Institute and held various positions at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2014 to 2020. Andy holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Energy and Resources, both from UC Berkeley, as well as a BA in Mathematics and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
