Andrew Schmeder is a science IT consultant at Berkeley Lab, assisting scientists with high-performance computing and data challenges since October 2023. As a co-founder of CircadianEye, LLC, Schmeder is involved in creating BLUESAFE 24 eyewear, which promotes blue-light protection for optimal circadian health. In addition to this role, Schmeder is the principal consultant and owner of Proaxient Technologies LLC, focusing on functional eyewear products. Previously, Schmeder co-founded EnChroma, Inc., where major contributions included product development and patent leadership, significantly growing the company. Other experience encompasses research roles in spatial acoustics and auditory perception, web development, and 3D visual design. Andrew Schmeder earned an A.B. in Pure Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
