Andy Godwin is a seasoned event planning professional with extensive experience in coordinating and managing events across various organizations. Currently serving as a Conference Planner at Berkeley Lab since June 2024, Andy previously worked as an Event Manager at Oakland Zoo from September 2022 to July 2024, and as the Director of Events and Membership at Berkeley Chamber of Commerce from February 2020 to October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Events Manager at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, where an annualized schedule of fundraising events was developed, and positions at Utah's Hogle Zoo as Special Events Supervisor and Special Events Assistant, significantly contributing to the production and marketing of numerous events. Andy holds an education from Salt Lake Community College.
