Azriel Goldschmidt is a Staff Scientist and Physicist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, specializing in data analysis and instrumentation for dark matter and neutrino experiments. They previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Staff Physicist at Berkeley Lab, working on digital/analog electronics and leading the testing of electronics for the IceCube experiment. Azriel also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Fermilab, where they contributed to the search for elementary particles and data analysis for the D0 experiment, as well as having held a postdoctoral role at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where they developed neutron detectors. Azriel earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
