Ben Hoen

Ben Hoen is a Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where since September 2006, the primary focus has been on public acceptance of renewable energy applications through primary research. Key investigations include analyzing home buyers' considerations regarding energy cost savings from solar systems, assessing the impact of large-scale wind and solar facilities on nearby home values, and collaborating on studies related to revenue and student outcomes in regions with substantial wind energy deployment. Previously, Ben Hoen served as Sales Manager at Canusa Corporation from January 1989 to March 1996, facilitating municipal and corporate recycling programs and acting as a broker for waste paper transactions.
