Bill Johansen

Bill Johansen has extensive experience in research administration and public policy, currently serving as the Senior Advisor to the Deputy Laboratory Director for Research at Berkeley Lab since March 1996. Prior roles include serving as a Staff Advisor to The Board of Regents at the University of California from July 2007 to June 2009, Deputy Executive Director at the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation from January 1995 to January 1996, and a Staff Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives from January 1993 to January 1995. Bill Johansen began his career at Berkeley Lab as a Student Assistant from March 1987 to December 1992. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from California State University - East Bay (1996-1998) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley (1988-1991).
