Bonnie Powell

Bonnie Powell currently serves as the Communications Lead for ESnet at Berkeley Lab since April 2023. Previously, Bonnie held the position of Director of Communications at College Track, leading strategies for external and internal communications for a nonprofit focused on helping students overcome systemic barriers. With a robust background in media relations, Bonnie has elevated brand visibility as Director of Communications at Bon Appétit Management Company and contributed to various publications as a writer and editor, including Grist, The Washington Post, and Wired Magazine. Bonnie co-founded The Ethicurean, a pioneering blog on food politics, and has extensive experience in corporate governance writing for Corporate Board Member. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from William & Mary and a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.
