Ben Bowen is a staff scientist at Berkeley Lab since May 2009, focusing on metabolism and energetics research. Previously, from August 2003 to 2010, Ben served as an assistant research professor at Arizona State University's Center for Metabolic Biology, where Bowen, developed complex Matlab algorithms for data analysis and conducted research in bioengineering on peptide-polymer bioconjugates. Ben holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Biophysics from Arizona State University (1998-2003) and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas (1994-1998).
