Bowen Deng is a Graduate Student Researcher at Berkeley Lab, specializing in battery design and modeling using first principle calculations and machine learning, with a focus on AI-assisted simulations for Li-ion battery materials. Previous experience includes a role as a Student Researcher at Google DeepMind, working on AI for Material Discovery, and a position as a Research Assistant at Microsoft, where Bowen contributed to projects at the intersection of AI and science.
