Brett Helms is a Senior Staff Scientist at Berkeley Lab, where employment began in October 2007. Alongside this role, Brett serves as a Co-Founder at both Cyklos Materials and Sepion Technologies, where the position has been held since March 2022 and September 2015, respectively. Additionally, Brett is an Associate Editor for Science Advances at AAAS since March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from UC Berkeley (2000-2006), a postdoctoral position at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (2006-2007), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College (1996-2000).
