Brian Cusick

Brian Cusick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in subcontract management and procurement. Currently serving as a Principal Subcontract Administrator at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory since September 2014, Brian specializes in negotiating and managing contracts for the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center, focusing on high performance computing and quantum computing. Prior roles at KBR included Subcontracts Supervisor and Senior Subcontracts Administrator, overseeing numerous subcontracts and achieving significant cost savings. Early career experiences include serving as a Legislative Research Analyst Intern for the City of Columbus and as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where Brian conducted small business development workshops and co-authored a substantial grant. Brian holds a Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Cleveland State University.
