Bryan McCloskey

Bryan McCloskey is the Department Chair of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, where they have held various roles including Professor and Vice Chair of Graduate Education. With expertise in areas such as energy storage, electrochemical systems, and water purification membranes, they have contributed significantly to the field of chemical engineering. McCloskey earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IBM. Currently, they are advancing their research and academic leadership while consulting on battery patent litigation.
