Catherine Weiss

Catherine Weiss is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab since January 2024, following a tenure as a PhD Candidate at the University of Delaware from August 2018 to December 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Dr. Zawodzinski Research Group at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from February 2016 to August 2018, and holding leadership roles such as President and Treasurer of the AIChE UTK Student Chapter. Catherine also served as Co-Captain of the Chem-E-Car team at UTK and completed an internship in Quality Assurance Engineering at Nissan Trading Corporation Americas in the summer of 2017. Catherine's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
