Chris Mungall

Chris Mungall is a Senior Computer Scientist and Department Head of Biosystems Data Science at Berkeley Lab, where contributions to the field have been made since 2006. Mungall started as a Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab and previously worked as a Bioinformatics Specialist at HHMI from 2001 to 2006. Early career experience includes a role as a Bioinformatician for the Berkeley Drosophila Genome Project. Academic credentials include a PhD in Bioinformatics and a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, both from The University of Edinburgh.
