Daniel Scott Schow

Mechanical Engineer

Daniel Scott Schow is a mechanical engineer with a strong background in new product introduction and manufacturing. Currently employed at Berkeley Lab as a Mechanical Engineer since January 2024, Schow contributes to the Advanced Light Source Upgrade electromagnet manufacturing project. Previously, as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Fresenius Medical Care North America, Schow played a key role in launching the VersiPD home dialysis system by coordinating with sub-vendors. At Benchmark Electronics, Inc., Schow served as a lead technical contact within the NPI team, while also leading the design of an automated pick-and-place machine at Royce Instruments, Inc. Schow's early experience includes roles as a student researcher and engineering intern, culminating in a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Pacific.
