Daniela Ushizima

Daniela Ushizima is a Senior Scientist and AI/ML Architect with over 20 years of experience in computer vision and natural language processing. They have a PhD from Universidade de São Paulo and have held various roles, including co-Principal Investigator at the LBNL Center for Applied Mathematics for Energy Research Applications since 2013 and Affiliate Faculty at the University of California, San Francisco since 2020. Daniela also served as a Data Scientist and Fellow at UC Berkeley's Berkeley Institute for Data Sciences and worked as an Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Santos from 2005 to 2007.
