Daniele Cocco is the Scientific Instrument Technical Lead at the Advanced Light Source, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. They previously served as a Staff Scientist at Berkeley Lab and held leadership roles at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, including Group Leader of X-ray optics and metrology. Daniele worked as an X-ray optics researcher at Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A from 1992 to 2007. They are also a Fellow of Optica and are currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physics at Università di Trieste, Italy.
