David Milsted

David Milsted is a skilled researcher and engineer with extensive experience in laboratory automation and user interface design. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab since January 2022, Milsted is focused on developing equipment for an autonomous laboratory utilizing advanced technologies such as SOLIDWORKS and microcontrollers. Previous roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, where Milsted conducted experiments and data analysis, and Solutions Engineer at Moritz Almeida Engenharia, where Milsted enhanced user experience for medical devices. Additional experience includes teaching Informatics at Curso Evidente and working as an Automation Analyst at IB Technology, where Milsted developed automation systems. Milsted holds a PhD in Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
